Week One of Accutane Down.
Skin is very very dry and flakey, but so far only on my face and ears. I accidently ripped off a good chunk of my lip just a second ago. Ouch. My makeup looks a bit odd, with this weird texture underneath. On the other hand, my makeup lasts longer, and needs less reapplying, because my skin isn’t so oily!
So far the only other side effects I’ve noticed are fatigue, and then just...

whalesgetlo asked: It cut off my comment, the Monistat Sooth Care Skin Protection Powder Gel is a must. Use it as a primer on your face, it won't irritate it. Then i mix it in with concealer, it works for oily or super dry skin. I'm not crazy, its my accutane life saver.

I would recommend something for sensitive skin, at this point. Definitely.

Accutane: Day Four
My skin is straight up peeling off of my face in certain areas. Mostly when I wash it, so I clearly need to be more gentle on that front. Lips are dry, but nothing unbearable. Its weird to wake up and not be super super oily, I didn’t think that would kick in so fast.
