Sadly, due to my state of brokeness, I only managed to see a few of the films nominated for best picture. It is a bit strange to me that so many films have been nominated, or that they made that change last year in the first place, but I guess they’re trying to represent a broader cut of the industry? Out of the films I have seen, my vote is for Midnight In Paris. I absolutely adored it on every front, from acting, to costuming, to writing. It was clever, nostalgic, and beautiful, with such a wonderful host of cameos. Plus, I just love Paris.
